Hello.

I am a California native transplanted to the beautiful land of Toledo, OH for an Emergency Medicine Residency. And as you can imagine, I have a lot more than just medicine to learn in this new city!

Most of my time is spent in the ER, treating America’s most vulnerable populations. As a feminist since I first learned about Susan B. Anthony and the suffragette movement, I have always been drawn to helping and advocating for vulnerable populations. I get most of my satisfaction from being the “first face of medicine” these sick, scared people see. If my caring hand and calm smile can ease any of their trepidation and instill a sense of confidence in their future care, it makes the long hours worth it!

However, I am not just a doctor. I am a young, liberal female who loves to read, bake, and listen to True Crime Podcasts. My reading interests range from YA fiction to memoirs by badass women who want to make the world a better place. You can find me in my happy place, curled up in bed with a Pumpkin Spice Latte, my fur baby (Lily Pawter), and a book in every spare moment I can find!
